Quest for a chinese carbon 29er mountainbike

One day while strolling through the MTBR.com forums, I hit a topic about Chinese carbon frames.

Anyway reading through the posts, I learned about frames, carbon, sizes, suppliers etc. I got really enthusiastic about building my own carbon 29er. But where to start?

Ok, I would need a frame, but what size, finish, supplier. Is it safe to order from China?
Are the frames and components safe?
Whats this thing with different bottom brackets, how to route internal cabeling. etc etc.
